Mitch is home and resting in his bed. The pain is much better now that the tube is gone. We plan to go to the show tomorrow; the Phish show, of course. Thanks to all the well wishes and positive energy from all of you we made it through this bump in the road.
We hope the phone rings soon so Mitch can beat me in that future mini-triathlon he is bragging about.
Officially, the 2nd set has begun This blog going forward will log our journey undergoing a second double-lungtransplant. This will serve as a blog to allow our families, friends, others interested to learn about experiencing a double-lung transplant a second time! Due to early chronic failure of the first lungs. The same hopeful attitude will be present, but the tone of excitement and energy is lost. Instead we understand and accept how much is out of our control.

Just glad that part is over with and we are on to the next step. Hope Phish is everything you want it to be. I'll skip the triathlon and the 5K!
