Dr Haithcock Just Came in!

Dr Benjamin Haithcock just came in. He told us that Mitch was doing very well and got a gorgeous set of healthy new lungs! He is in recovery and we can see him in about an hour in the ICU.

I've never been quite so happy to be woken up at 1:00am! I can't believe this day has come. That must have been a grueling 8 hours in the waiting room, and we're so glad everything went as expected. All our Love to Reba, Gayle, Billy, Simon and Matias Love Troy, Felicia, Isabella and Lexi.

It was an exhausting night but we are so glad it is over and it went well. These last few weeks have been very hard on Mitch even though he has been stoic in how he dealt with everything. At least the wait is over and now the reoovery and his new lease on life begins.

Oh such great news! I checked the blog the minute I opened my eyes! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. People you don't even know are praying for Mitch and your whole family.
