Make sure when you move to Nelson (probably Friday) that you blow off the wheel chair and walk. It will be the best walk you've taken in a long time. Great progress! Right on target.

Well guys, NO MORE "Waiting for the time when YOU can finally say, this has all been wonderful and now I'm on my way..."
You are on your way now to a fantastic future!
Prayers have been answered and there is no looking back.
What strength has Mitch shown all of us and what a fantastic role model to Simon and Matias. And Rebecca, you are a true Guardian Angel.
You are trully blessed and, thanks to you, all of us that have had the privilege of being part of this journey and learn so much about life during the process.
Our love to all always,
Jeff & Lizca.

You can't imagine how unbelievable it was to see Mitch walking. You can really tell Mitch's sense of strength and courage as they were preparing him to make this walk. It took 4 nurses and 30 minutes to unhook all the tubes and get him ready to take this incredible journey. Then just as they were going to stand him up, he said he didn't feel like walking. The look on the nurses faces was priceless! Then Mitch said "Just kidding!"

Ha ha ha, I wish I was still there to see the look on those nurses faces. Talk about about the right attitude, strength and courage. You're the man, Mitch! And same to you Rebecca, you're a rock. And those doctors--what an amazing thing they have going on down there. Chapel Hill rocks! Filip is excited to go skiing with you real soon! Love you both, L
